Brazilian coffee is soft and nutty with low acidity. It offers a nice bittersweet chocolate taste.
Brazil doesn’t just dominate the continent of South America, it also dominates the land of coffee, having been the world’s top producer for the past 150 years. Home to the great Amazon River and the most diverse rainforest on the planet, Brazil is a land teeming with life and energy. It’s little wonder that some of the world’s most vibrant cups of coffee are born here.
A Land of Contrasts. Brazil is located in east-central South America and occupies nearly 50% of the continent. Around 58% of the country is covered by forests, including the acclaimed Amazon Rainforest. The only countries in the world that are larger are Russia, Canada, China, and the United States.
Unlike other countries in South America, Brazil’s terrain is relatively modest. The principal mountain ranges average elevations just under 2,000 meters. Of the total territory, 41% averages less than 200 meters in elevation. The coastal area is noted for thousands of miles of beautiful tropical beaches.
Growing elevations in Brazil range from about 2,000 feet to 4,000 feet.
NO MORE MONKEYS JUMPING ON THE BED! Brazil has more species of monkeys than any other nation in the world.
